Hooray For The USA
It's finally here!  Our first graders will be sharing all of their hard work and enthusiasm with us this Thursday morning at 9:15 in the north MPR.  All first grade parents and special friends are invited to join us for the festivities.  If school is canceled due to inclement weather on Tuesday, February 4 and/or Wednesday, February 5 we will still be having the performance on Thursday if school is in session that day.  The students and their teachers have been practicing and are ready to both educate and entertain their audience.

Join Us This Tuesday Weather Permitting
On Tuesday, February 4 the St. Paul's Professional Learning Community (PLC) will present on our ongoing curriculum work at 4PM in the north MPR.  If school is canceled due to inclement weather, this event will be postponed.  Please RSVP to Linda van Thullenar at lvan@speds.org if you plan to attend.

The Rainforest Construction Has Begun
The third grade rainforest has started to take over the second floor commons and we couldn't be happier!  The third graders are abuzz researching their animal and planning how they'll make their animals at home.  Thanks to all of the third grade parents who are helping put the rainforest together.  Please email Ms. B or Mrs. Thompson if you would like to volunteer to hang leaves and vines.  We appreciate all of the help we can get.

Wine on the Vine
Third through Fifth grade teachers will be hosting their annual auction item for current third grade parents on Tuesday, March 4th from 6-7:30 PM.  Join us in the St. Paul's rainforest for hors d'oeuvres and wine.  The cost is $25 per person and you can contact Katie Gregg at kgregg@speds.org or at 816.268.6541to register.

The Second Semester of In Harmony Choir Will Begin Soon
Starting on Monday, February 10th and continuing each Monday school is in session through May 5th, students in grades first through sixth are invited to join Mrs. Everly and Senora Meli in the music room at 7:15 for In Harmony rehearsal.  Students will once again perform in all school chapel and will also possibly perform in the community.  Students must not miss more than three rehearsals in order to participate in the performances.  Please complete and return the permission slip that was sent home in order to register your child.  Thanks in advance for helping your child arrive at 7:15 each Monday.  We are looking forward to a very successful second semester choir!

Valentine's Day Parties
