Learning About Service
This past week we had the pleasure of meeting Cathy Mcleod. Cathy is the grandma of some of our current Lower School and ECC students and she is leaving very soon to serve two years in the Peace Corps. She visited with students and teachers to share information about where she'll be going, what she has packed, and how she'll serve others while she's away. Cathy will be skyping and exchanging letters with three of our grade levels next year. We are excited for our students to have this opportunity. Cathy has invited anyone who is interested to attend a Peace Corps Open House this Saturday, March 1st from 6-9 PM at The Writer's Place which is located at 3607 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Rainforest Open House
On Thursday, March 6th our third graders will be busy giving tours of the Rainforest to some very special guests. They'll begin the morning of tours at 9AM when they will host second graders and their parents. Later in the morning they will have their official Rainforest Open House for family and friends from 11:30-1.
International Festival
Our toddler-second grade students will have their International Festival on Wednesday, March 6th at 8:45. More information to come soon.
Middle School Musical
Our Middle School Musical students are hard at work preparing for the upcoming performances. The students will have three performances including two matinees for students and an evening performance for parents and community members. We are excited to see The Seussical on March 12th and 13th.
