Excellent work St. Paul's students! The world is a better place because of your hard work!

Author Tony DiTerlizzi To Visit St. Paul's
Third through fifth grade students will have the opportunity to meet and hear author Tony DiTerlizzi on Wednesday, May 14 from 1-1:45. Mr. DiTerlizzi is the author of The Spiderwick Chronicles and will also be telling students about his newest book, The Search for Wonderla. It's a true pleasure to meet a Caldecott winning author!
Writers' Fair Celebrating Our Third Through Fifth Grade Authors
These students' work will be on display throughout the week of May 12th. Parents are invited to join their child before chapel or after school to celebrate their child's or children's work. We also hope to allow students time to appreciate and admire the work of the other students.
The Spirit Of Giving
Join us on Friday, May 16th for our last Feed the Need Friday. Students are invited to bring in items for the pantry. Summer can be the busiest time for food pantries so help us stock the shelves prior to summer vacation. We will also be hosting a blood drive in the St. Paul's gym Friday afternoon.
Liz's Retirement Chapel & Reception
We'll celebrate Liz Barnes' retirement on Friday, May 16th. Students will honor her at All School Chapel and parents and other community members are invited to celebrate her at the reception following All School Chapel. Being Head of School is a challenging job to say the least and she has given so much of herself to our school and community over the past decade so join us in thanking her for all she has done and wishing her well as she embarks on retirement.
* Third Through Fifth Grade Field Day*
Students will participate in field day activities from 9-11. Parents are invited to join their children for some fun and games on the field from 11-11:30. Afterwards, students will enjoy their parents, guests, friends, and food as we eat lunch outside. Parents are encouraged to bring a lunch and blanket and join us for the picnic. We'll wrap up the festivities at noon so we can take advantage of the afternoon for learning purposes and allow the middle school students field access for their Field Day Events.
Faculty Vs. Eighth Grade Softball Game
Join us on the field at 2:30 on Tuesday, May 20th as our Faculty takes on the soon-to-be graduates.
Thanks to all of the parents who helped us celebrate learning last week. We had second and third grade parents on campus for our last two musical performances of the school year and our fifth grade parents and special friends joined us on Friday for Mercado Dia to celebrate students research and interest in foreign language. Our fourth grade parents also joined us on Friday to celebrate the fourth graders participation in Reach Out and Dance through the Kansas City Ballet! Thanks for joining us for all of these wonderful events! Your partnership with the school helps make the St. Paul's experience what it is!
